精神科救急医療機関におけるソーシャルワーク実践に関する考察 A Study on Social Work Practice in Psychiatric Emergency Services 羽鳥, 恵一 ハトリ, ケイイチ HATORI, Keiichi Psychiatric Emergency Service Social work practice art In the field of psychiatric care, the emergency phase has rapidly progressed in recent years, and patients with various needs are admitted to the psychiatric emergency medical institution. Under such circumstances, psychiatric social workers are required to have the ability to deal with a wide variety of patients. This ability of social workers is not only scientific technology, but also Art that relies on social workers’ own sense and intuition. The purpose of this study is to clarify the Art of psychiatric social work practice in line with actual practice. We first surveyed the practical theories of social work and have clarified that the Art is considered behind them, while aiming for the scientification of social work practice. And then, we extracted detailed data in the psychiatric emergency ward at the psychiatric emergency medical institution where I work and analyzed the practice of social work practice. As a result, psychiatric social workers began interventions early in the patient's hospitalization, attempting to form good relationships with the patients, their families, in-hospital multi-occupation teams, and community aid providers, provided the necessary social security systems and services that imagined the life of the patients after discharge, and worked to fill the gap between services by providing services that existing services do not have. Social work practices in psychiatric emergency ward are carried out by combining a wide variety of practical theories and applying them to individual clients, performed with an intuitive and empathic understanding of the client's emotions. In addition, social workers in psychiatric emergency ward utilize the relationships between the client and the social worker and the worker's own emotions in practice, need to have a creative and predictive sensitivity to the future of the actual practical process and the future of the client. These are just the abilities that deserve to be called the Art.
