At the same time it discusses issues in “simulation exercises” performed as a method for understanding disabilities. Participants comprised two students using self-propelled wheelchairs, residents using attendant-propelled wheelchairs, their caregivers and homecare workers, and teachers, in addition to 20 students and a government official in charge of barrierfree measures（total, 29 people）. We qualitatively analyze the free-response feedback regarding the lessons of 10 university students who consented to the use of feedback for research purposes,as well as interactions observed among participants during lessons.
