Although Native Americans sometimes acknowledge this image, they also seem to suffer from the image. In order to discuss the legitimacy of such image, this paper first defines “Proto-Eurasian” as a group of people who migrated out of Africa and interbred with other populations such as Neanderthals and Denisovans. Proto-Eurasians quickly spread to other continents such as Europe, Asia, and Australia where extinctions of large mammals followed the waves of human migration. Although the actual reason behind those extinctions are still controversial, this paper argues that group size of Proto-Eurasian foragers was the major contributor of the extinctions and that North America and South America were no exceptions. This paper then discusses that “the natural environment” is more or less formed under the influence of human interactions with the surrounding environment and questions the image of Native Americans as living guardians of natural environment.","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_3_description_15":{"attribute_name":"表示順","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"4","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_3_description_16":{"attribute_name":"アクセション番号","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"KJ00010082319","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_3_description_8":{"attribute_name":"記事種別(日)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"論文","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_3_description_9":{"attribute_name":"記事種別(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"Article","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_3_source_id_1":{"attribute_name":"雑誌書誌ID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA11469829","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_3_source_id_19":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"18843735","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_3_text_6":{"attribute_name":"著者所属(日)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"京都文教大学"}]},"item_3_text_7":{"attribute_name":"著者所属(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_language":"en","subitem_text_value":"Kyoto Bunkyo University"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"山本, 明歩"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"3334","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"YAMAMOTO, Akiho","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"3335","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2017-03-23"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"KJ00010082319.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"1.3 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"KJ00010082319.pdf","url":"https://kbu.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/1314/files/KJ00010082319.pdf"},"version_id":"adb0807d-3b26-4c0d-a302-adcccadcece0"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"ネイティブ・アメリカン","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"環境","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"狩猟採集社会","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Native American","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"environment","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"hunting-gathering society","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"プロト・ユーラシアンとしての「ネイティブ・アメリカン」","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"プロト・ユーラシアンとしての「ネイティブ・アメリカン」"},{"subitem_title":"Native Americans as a Branch of \"Proto-Eurasians\"","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"3","owner":"11","path":["61"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2017-03-23"},"publish_date":"2017-03-23","publish_status":"0","recid":"1314","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["プロト・ユーラシアンとしての「ネイティブ・アメリカン」"],"weko_creator_id":"11","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-06-20T14:19:18.864969+00:00"}
