| 内容記述 | In the 1930's Yanaghita Kunio developed his own style of folk research and in 1935 established the Folk Society (Minkandensho ?no ?kai), which many communists joined in response to the control activities of the government. It has been thought that they joined to develop their insight into the people and native culture by studying Yanaghita's work after their conversion from communism to patriotism. Yanaghita's relationship with folklorist Hashiura Yasuo, one of the leaders of proletalian cultural movement in 1920's, has been understood to be a typical "teacher-pupil" connection case. From this documentary investigation, based on a compilation of materials once owned by Hashiura; books, personal letters, field notes, pamphlets, it is seen that from the late 1930's Hashiura was a leader of the organized movement of Japanese folklore studies. The management of organization was based on people's relience on Hashiura, and such relience was due to Hashiura's, moderate, realistic, and empirical personal character. | |||||||||||
