| 内容記述 | Objective: For analysis of foundation formation for newly appointed childcare workers to acquire expertise, we conducted an interview survey of six childcare workers with three to eight years of experience concerning their childcare practice development. Methods: The interview content was analyzed using M-GTA(Modified Grounded Theory Approach）, and the analysis produced 50 concepts, 19 subcategories, and six higher-level categories, including: a)childcare behaviors, b)children's awareness/acceptance, c)integration of childcare practice and awareness, d)responses to parents, e)changes with career advancement, and f)various attitudes to their careers. Results: The analysis produced an explanatory diagram, and the following growth processes were identified. ・Initial years: Gaining a sense of affirmation by practicing childcare under senior supervision ・3rd to 4th year: Gaining a freedom to practice childcare freely ・5th to 6th year: Gaining a freedom to understand children and the flow of childcare ・ 7th to 8th year: Gaining a freedom to see children with a bird's-eye view to objectively understand childcare in totality. Conclusion: The results of this study indicated that the professional foundation of new childcare workers is an "integration of childcare practice and children's awareness." This study also indicated that, in order to grow into a mid-level childcare worker, it is necessary to view childcare practice utilizing a meta-perspective. |
