A questionnaire was used to measure changes in emotions, with “Focusing” techniques applied to measure the expression of somatic sensation. As a result, changes in moods that were found included decrease in nervousness, depression and exhaustion while vitality increased. In regard to images, it was revealed that when singing, the person experiences various images and not just images that are directly related to the music. Such images are believed to be created by being conscious of one’s somatic sensation. It was confirmed that by diverting one’s attention to somatic sensation during musical activity, a variety of sensations can be created by immersing oneself in the music.
