Under such circumstances, social workers are required to practice social work with a broad perspective covering micro-meso-macro. In particular, in the practice of mental health social work, the needs of clients are diversifying, and social workers are becoming more important for accurate needs assessment and the ability to respond on a case-by-case basis. In doing so, the social worker’s creativity, imagination, and practical intelligence based on intuition and experience will be important, at the same time, reflective practices of social workers will be required. Although some previous studies have clarified the practical intelligence, thought processes, and reflective practices of social workers, none of them have been examined based on actual cases. From this point of view, this research analyzed the case of social work practice in which the author was actually involved. As for the analysis method, the case was analyzed using the “episode description method”. Concretely, the episode in the case was described, and the “meta-meaning” was considered as the primary analysis. As a result, I clarified the actual thought processes and reflection in practice on the case. Furthermore, I conducted repeated verifications at the study group and discussions with a co-author, and considered the generality that can be expected from the case study and the impact on readers after reading that. Through this research, I was able to clarify that the “episode description method” is effective for case analysis in mental health social work practice and reflection on the practice of social workers based on generalist social work.}, pages = {97--110}, title = {【研究ノート】ジェネラリスト・ソーシャルワークに基づく精神科ソーシャルワーク実践に関する考察-エピソード記述法を用いた事例分析の可能性-}, volume = {15}, year = {2023} }
