| 内容記述 | ‘Amazon’, one of the four types of Feminine Psyche, can be said to be a natural state of loss of the feminine mind due to its competitive and aggressive qualities. Such a psychological state can also be understood as a phenomenon called ‘Negative-Animus’ or ‘Animus-Possession’ encountered in the psychotherapeutic process. The psychological background of ‘Amazon’, which can be said to be the archetypal state of female psychology, was examined from the perspective of Analytical Psychology through the female protagonists depicted in operatic works. The female subjects are ‘Princess Turandot’ in Puccini’s ‘Turandot’ and the ‘Queen of the Night’ in Mozart’s ‘The Magic Flute’, both of whom are portrayed as possessing a hostile attitude toward men and a cruel personality. In the case of ‘Princess Turandot’, the anger at the foreign invaders who killed her ancestor, and in the case of the ‘Queen of the Night’, the man who took her daughter away, both of these have been proposed as a background of the ‘Amazon Psyche’. In addition, ‘Demeter’, in Greek mythology, has been examined for a comparison with both protagonists. Finally, the psychological characteristics of femininity in Analytical Psychology have been discussed with reference to the perspectives of the differences between the realistic level and the symbolic level. | |||||||||
