| 内容記述 | The impression of fashion coordination is strongly influenced by the diversity of colors. This study describes a quantification method of color diversity in fashion coordination applying information entropy. Furthermore, a color diversity index is proposed using the entropy of histogram for 14 color categories. To examine the effectiveness of the aforementioned method, the indices for 126 fashion coordination images from 2022 spring/summer collections of four brands, which are Issey Miyake, Keita Maruyama, Tsumori Chisato, and Yohji Yamamoto, are calculated. The results demonstrate that the proposed method is effective and can partially quantify the color diversity of fashion coordination. Moreover, it is suggested that color diversity is also influenced by the saturation of the included colors. | |||||||||
