| 内容記述 | Drum performance is used as one of the group activities in many cases. However, group activity is broad and experience is different in a sport or group musical activities. Being characteristically sounding, Japanese drum is considered as a further different experience in group musical activities. The purpose of this study is to consider the experience in Japanese drum performing together by using the Modified Grounded Theory Approach to analyze the interview conducted on professional drum players“KODO”. The analysis suggests the existence of eleven concepts which are grouped into three categories, "experience of group activity", "experience which is going to unite a breath "and "experience which unites a breath." In "experience of group activity", people have consciousness of themselves as collective members, and the others as a friends who are doing the same thing, and relation through a realistic act is experienced. In "experience which is going to unite a breath", one has consciousness of oneself and the others as an individual with a feeling, and the place produced because individuals with a feeling gather was experienced. In "experience which unites a breath", a sense of togetherness is felt from experience whose sound suits exceeding an intention. The feeling of the boundary of oneself and others became ambiguous, and, as for the feeling whose one is lost, and more than the thing that united every person's sound, the thing is experienced by experience of a sense of togetherness. While experiencing the relations with others through "a group activity", one also experiences the relations through a different thing breath, in "experience which is going to unite a breath". It can be said that one of the features of a drum performance that experience not only through relation through a realistic act but a breath is brought about. This paper is to focus on each experience and experience of relation with the others who passed the breath especially, and also to inquire from now on. | |||||||||||
