| 内容記述 | 我が国におけるマンダラ研究の第一人者である河合隼雄と鶴見和子は、1992年から1994年にかけて幾度か出会い、その相互交流を通してお互いのマンダラ論を深化させた。鶴見の曼荼羅論は真言宗の影響を受けた南方曼荼羅を土台に展開しており、一方の河合のマンダラ論はチベットの曼荼羅に由来するユングのマンダラ論を独自に展開させている。この両者の交流において、最も興味深いのは「萃点」をめぐる議論であり、とりわけその「移動」については河合が鶴見に示唆を与えたのではないか、と考えられる。また、紫マンダラとして展開する河合のマンダラ論は、鶴見の南方曼荼羅の影響を強く受けていると、河合自身述懐している。これら二つのマンダラ論を通して、両者が目指しているのは、偶然と必然の織り成す新しい科学観と、時空を超えたマンダラ的共生世界の構築であると思われる。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this article is to identify how the gigantic Mandala researchers, Hayao Kawai and Kazuko Tsurumi, structured their theories through the meeting and interaction from 1992 to 1994. Both of them were already well-known researchers of Mandala and constructed their own theories about it. Nevertheless, they promised to talk about their theories and their confrontation effected remarkably to their Mandala theories. Kawai’s Mandala theory is primarily based on the Jung’s dated from Tibetian Mandala, and Tsurumi’s is based on the Minakata’s Mandala rooted in Ryokai-Mandala of Shingon sect of Buddhism. The most important interaction was the finding of the movement of Suiten (focal point of causality and synchronicity). The Suitens were already found by Tsurumi but the attention of their movement might be suggested by Kawai. At the same time, Kawai also acknowledged the influence of Minakata and Tsurumi’s Mandala theories. The above two theories on Mandala shows that both researchers aim to develop a new scientific outlook and the dynamic equilibrium of Mandala structure of co-living of not only for all the creatures of the same age but also those of all generations. | |||||||||
