| 内容記述 | Received concept of globalization as propounded by Western scholars assume (1) that there is one and only one center of globalization, (2) that this center is the West, and (3) that this center is the Western civilization. In this paper I demonstrate (1) that there are multiple centers of globalization, (2) therefore that the West is not the only center of globalization, and (3) that in addition to civilization, nation states, multinational corporations, cosmopolises, and even ethnic groups can be centers of globalization. | |||||||||
