内容記述 | In Japan, school clinical psychologists (school counselors) have recently been dispatched through commission by the Ministry of Education. However, the activity of school clinical psychologists has not yet established its practical direction. On the other hand, "in the USA, psychological profession has long been established in public school education from state to state. So research has been done and reports have been made on actual provision and activity concerning the job of counselor and psychologist ^ targeted at Blue Valley School District, Kansas, USA. The results of this research revealed that the job of counselor and psychologist was clearly defined and integrated positioned in the schools, and regulated by law. Especially the job of counselor is determined by the demand of the local society, and useful in providing models for the role of psychological" profession at public school in Japan. However, it may be said that the current role of counselor and psychologist means a lot because USA is a contract society and is based on individualism. Therefore, in applying it to Japanese culture, it will be necessary to consider the differences of culture and make appropriate changes. | |||||||||
