内容記述 | Shimizu (1998) reported on the linguistic of a hearing child (1 year old), the both of whose parents are deaf, in the first year of this nursery school life, the present report is on his second year in the nursery school. The most striking finding was that the appearance of his three-word sentences was retarded until almost one year after the appearance of two-word sentences, despite the fact that he had achieved much more stable pronunciation that in his first year in the nursery school. The length of the time lag between the appearance of toward sentences and the appearance of three-word sentences was about five times as long as that of usual development. This result contrasts with the fact that he had made a more rapid acquisition of vocal language than usual in his first year in the nursery school. The role of parents' vocal language for the development of children's acquisition of three-word sentences has not been studied in depth, and needs future research. Maybe the common mechanisms were responsible for retardation in his uses of interrogative forms, and for his tendency toward inattentiveness to stories. | |||||||||||
