内容記述 | Object: There are few reports on the reproducibility of long-term measures of heart rate variability obtained from twenty-four-hour ambulatory electrocardiograms. The aim of this study was to investigate the long-term reproducibility of diurnal rhjdihm of heart rate variability in healthy students. Methods: We studied seven male students aged 20-22 years. All students were free of cardiovascular disease, autonomic neuropathy and renal disease had received no drug therapy. Twenty-four-hour ambulatory electrocardiograms were obtained in all subjects using a digital recorder (FM ICQ Fukuda Denshi Co.). These data were an alysed for heart rate variability by an analyser system (FMC 20 Fukuda Denshi Co.). All of the subjects underwent two timed examinations. Results: 1) Intervals of the two examinations; Table 1 shows the intervals for the two examinations in 1997 and in 1998. The intervals between recordings were ranged from 365-27 days to 365+11 days. 2) Frequency domain analysis of HF; Table 2 shows the value of the domain parameters obtained during the first and the second twenty-four-hour ambulatory electrocar diograms. The frequency domain parameters of the mean high frequency component (HF), the mean HF percentile index, and the maximum HF percentile index, the minimum HF percentile index showed good reproducibility during the first and the second examination. 3) Frequency domain analysis of LF/HF; The ratio of the low frequency component (LF) to high frequency component (HF) were within the value of the frequency domain paramiters. Table 3 shows the mean of the LF/HF percentile index, the maximum LF/HF percentile index, and the minimum LF/HF percentile index showed good reproducibility during the first and the second examination. 4) Diurnal rhythm; Figure 1 to Figure 7 shows the demonstration of diurnal rhythm in 7 cases in 1997 and in 1998 respectively. These demonstrations of diurnal rhythm showed good reproducibility during the first and the second examinations. Discussion: The analysis of heart rate variability offers an interesting method for studying the effects of autonomic neural activity on the cardiovascular system. In order to evaluate the contribution of the effects, it was important to demonstrate their reproducibility by investigation.1) Fourier transformation; The frequency domain analyses were made by means of the fast Fourier transformation algorithm. The Fourier transformation shows the demonstration of the function on f(t) = 1/2×a0+a1cos t+a2cos 2t +b2sin 2t +・・・+ancos nt +ansin nt. 2) Previous report; There were few previous reports on the reproducibility of frequency domain heart rate variability in normal subjects. One report"' was on short-term measures of 10 minutes, two reports were long-term measures of 24 hours and the intervals between recordings ranged from 3 to 65 days"', 210 ±25 days' both in the long-term study. Our report ranged from 365-27 days to 365+11 days. There were no previous reports on the reproducibility of diural rhythm of frequency of domain heart rate variability after one year. Conclusion: 1) Our data clarified the reproducibility of the mean HF percentile index, the maximum HF percentile index and the minimum HF percentile index after one year in 7 healthy students. 2) Our data clarified the reproducibility of the mean LF/HF percentile index, the maximum LF/HF percentile index and the minimum LF/HF percentile index after one year in 7 healthy students. 3) This study of diural rhythm also demonstrates very good reproducibility after one year in 7 healthy students. | |||||||||||||||||
