| 内容記述 | Not a few members of Yanagita Kunio's folklore group were at one time leftists or members of the Communist Party. The limits established by the Peace Preservation Law in 1925 and the abolition of the Communist Party forced many leftists to abandon or give up their political ideologies (The phenomenon called Tenko). In spite of these circumstances, Hashiura Yasuo, who was a Communist member as well as a leader of the proletarian cultural movement in the 1920's, did not abandon his belief, but instead joined the Yanagita's folklore group and demonstrated his ability to organize Minkan Densho No Kai (the Folklore Association). An investigation of his documents reveals that the academic circles under his leadership were mainly composed of colleagues of a literary coterie magazine in his younger days, his home towners and members of a livelihood cooperative association movement from the 1930's. His connection to the folklore movement proved to have served only as a secondary basis for his academic circles. | |||||||||||
