| 内容記述 | The various self-images of a child-care provider for 82 current child-care providers were studied. The child-care images were classified using “KJ’s method” and 56 various child-care provider images were found, which were classified into four main categories and eleven sub-categories. The percentages listed below are the ratios of a specific category to all categories. Category 1: the custody of a child (33.2%), including sub-categories of love, feelings about a child, and compatibility. Category 2: The child-care (30.0%), including the sub-categories of purpose of child-care, up-bringing of a child, and nursing. Category 3: the protector (11.5%), including the sub-categories of relationship, and protector support. Category 4: the child-care provider (25.3%), including characteristics of the role, child-care profession, child-provider jobs and workplace. The years of experience change the self-image of a current child-care provider. The child-care provider with 1-2 years of experience has several self-images, and the category 1 answer accounts for 70% of the total. The child-care provider with 3-5 years of experience has a child-care self-image where their answer is about equal for category 1, category 2, and category 3. The child-care provider with 6-10 years of experience has a deeper job consciousness, and the category 4 answer pre-dominates. The child-care provider with 11 or more years of experience has a self-image formed by externalization and relativization, and their answer is a balance of the categories. The change in self-image follows the growth of the child-care provider. |
