内容記述 | While in the past statuses of residence were only granted to first and second-generation persons of Japanese descent, the revised Immigration Act which went into effect in 1990 ascertained that third-generation persons of Japanese descent would also be granted the "long term resident" status of residence and, subsequently, the number of immigrants rapidly increased. For this reasons , there are children who have varieties of the backgrounds such as the use of language, cultural background, ethnic roots, the reasons and date of coming to Japan, and they attend each Long Day Care center (LDC center) and preschool. Their early childhood teachers seem to face and feel problems when they care of children and parents every day. This research aims to present how early childhood education and care(ECEC) in Australia work in terms of The National Quality Frame Work(NQF) and what Transition to school means to children and parents who has culturally and linguistically different backgrounds. This information will also help to understand when ECEC teachers support children who have varieties backgrounds in Japan. |
