| 内容記述 | 本稿では、向島ニュータウン内に形成されているコミュニティのなかから、障害をもつ子どもと母親たちのコミュニティをとりあげて、母親たちを対象としたフォーカスグループインタビューを行い、コミュニティ生成過程を質的に分析した。その結果、ニュータウンにおける障害をもつ子どもと母親たちのコミュニティには、早期療育の場での親同士の絆から生まれた「①コミュニティの核となる母親たち」と、「②地域社会から孤立する母親たち」との間に、「④コミュニティ形成のきっかけとなる出会い」が生じて、「⑤ニュータウンの子育てコミュニティ」が形成され、そのなかで子どもの「障害がもつ意味の発見」に母親たちが覚醒していくというプロセスがあることが導き出された。また、母親たちが必要だと考えている支援としては、「外見からは分からない見えない障害への理解」、「療育や教育へのアクセシビリティの確保」、「格差の是正」があげられた。さらに、障害をもつ子どもとその家族に対するソーシャルワークの課題としては、「障害の告知を受けるまでの期間の家族への援助」「療育へのアクセシビリティを保障するための支援」「障害をもつ子どもとその家族の生活圏の交友関係が発展できる支援」「子どもの障害がノ―マライズされる環境の整備」があり、以上の課題に取組むことをとおして「障害をもつ子どもとその家族に対する一貫性や継続性がある支援」や、「子どもたちのライフサイクルに応じた継続的な支援」が可能となることを主張した。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | In the present study, the author focused on the community of children with disabilities and their mothers in the community established in Mukaijima New Town, and qualitatively analyzed the process of community formation by conducting focus group interviews on mothers of children with disabilities. The results revealed the following process in the community of children with disabilities and their mothers in the New Town: occurrence between "mothers forming the core of the community" and "mothers isolated from the regional community" of " encounters that trigger community formation" due to the bond, which resulted in formation of " The community of the child care support in the New Town" and promoted the mothers' awareness of their children's " discovery of the meaning of disability". In addition, the following were identified as support considered necessary by mothers: "understanding of disabilities that can not be recognized or seen by appearance", "ensuring accessibility to care and education", and "elimination of disparity". In addition, issues in social work for children with disabilities and their families included the following: "assistance for families during the period before notification of disability", "support for ensuring accessibility to care", "support that enables children with disabilities and their families to develop friendships in the community", and "establishment of an environment that normalizes the disabilities of children". The results showed that addressing the above issues enabled "consistent and continuous support for children with disabilities and their families" as well as "continuous support that considers the life cycle of children". | |||||||||
