内容記述 | This study clarifies how aspiring students who plan to work in the childcare field (hereafter, students) understand classroom taught nudge theory and its application towards the childcare environment and human relationships. In particular, we collected data using the sentence completion method (SCT) and used free software KH Coder for text mining to analyze how students perceived nudge theory before and after the students’ childcare practice. The data indicates there are differences in the perception of nudge theory before and after the students’ childcare practice. For instance, the word “compulsion” was detected 32 times before their childcare practice, but was not detected after the students’ childcare practice. Furthermore, the word “environment” was detected 32 times after the students’ childcare practice. After the students’ childcare practice, they apparently understood nudge theory by remembering the childcare workers who created the “environment” without using “compulsion”. These results suggest that “childcare studies” and “behavioral economics,” which appear to be completely unrelated, share the psychological element of manipulating human minds. In addition, we examined human relationships utilizing nudge theory by analyzing posters created by the students who learned nudge theory. One remaining task is to utilize these analysis results in the training of childcare workers. | |||||||
