内容記述 | This study aimed to clarify the process by which childcare workers develop expertise in their field as they complete 5 years and 11 months of work experience. A questionnaire survey was conducted among 40 childcare workers with 3 to less than 6 years of experience. The following points were clarified based on the childcare worker efficacy scale and description of the image of childcare workers. Experience of 3 to less than 4 year: At this stage, workers become more active in day-to-day childcare practices and are able to carry out activities appropriate to childcare situations with confidence. By engaging in rich practice, they are able to notice and accept the varied situations around them. Experience of 4 to less than 5 years: Childcare practices become more complex, and the worker possesses greater -awareness of surrounding situations awareness of surrounding situations. As a result, the integration of childcare practices and awareness of childcare situations begins. This period is a turning point in professional development. Experience of 5 to less than 6 years: The Integration of childcare practice and awareness of childcare situations is complete Childcare practices become holistic and objective. The conditions for becoming a mid-level childcare worker are fulfilled at this stage. In order for a childcare worker to grow into a childcare professional, the growth and changes that occur during the period of 3 to 6 years of experience are extremely important. |
